(Gown by Jesus Piero)

Unicorns, clouds, rainbows, and carnivals, these are just a few of the words Kelsey used to describe the “look” she wanted for her wedding gown.  I was lost & confused!  Then, with the help of her bridesmaid Lil, she explained she wanted a unique, runway look that would translate for the carnival themed reception.  As an NBA Cheerleader with the OKC Thunder, Kelsey is always performing and wanted her wedding to be the performance of her life.  After a number of failed dresses, I put Kelsey in gown by cutting edge designer Jesus Piero that she loved, not realizing that I may not be able to get this gown before her wedding in three months!  Following many calls to the designer in Spain, and getting an “All International circuits to the country you are calling are busy”, I was in a panic!  After finally getting through to Jesus Piero, I was able to tell Kelsey on the “Aisle of Style” that she would have her dress in a month!  Thank you Jesus Piero for coming to my rescue!  My hair and make up team, Lindsay & Raychel, completed the glamorous, yet whimsical “carnival look” with a dramatic up do and a pop of bright pink color on her lips.  To add another pop of “color” I added leopard print to the bottom of Kelsey’s shoes, since she told me leopard was her favorite “color!”

I chose a simple, sheer, long veil from Malis Henderson for Kelsey.

This feather headpiece, also by Malis Henderson, fit in perfectly with Kelsey’s Carnival themed reception and added the perfect touch of whimsy and playfulness to her overall look.

I kept the bouquet simple to ensure it would not distract from the beautiful appliques at the waistline.
