Dress: (Jayma) from Augusta Jones.
They say everything is bigger in Texas, but I didn’t know everything also came in two’s. My first Austin bride Emma came to Randy to the Rescue for me to help her choose ONE gown that could be styled TWO completely differently ways. For their wedding, Emma and her fiancé were planning two ceremonies; the first was to be a conservative church wedding in Houston and the second a more casual affair in Austin. In addition, Emma desired to include her family’s Irish heritage by using accents of the family tartan.
After trying a few gowns, Emma stepped into a lace sweetheart trumpet gown from Augusta Jones that she felt was “made for her”, But she was concerned it wouldn’t be versatile enough for both looks. By adding a matching lace long sleeved lace shrug for the Houston ceremony, it gave Emma the conservative, classic look she desired for the church ceremony. To further distinguish each look I explained would accessorize the casual look with a belt of three-dimensional flowers attached by using a fabric ribbon in her family’s tartan.
Not telling Emma we were planning to reveal BOTH her looks on the aisle of style, Lindsay began by styling Emma’s hair into long flowing curls which were then concealed under a conservative bun and secured with crystal hair jewelry. During the reveal we transformed Emma from her first look to her second during her big reveal. With both looks receiving approval from family and Emma, she left ready for BOTH of her wedding days!
